Annie Amelyte Kim | also go by dreamelyte | 1995 | A New York-based abstract artist specializing in plexiglass wall-hanging sculptures, proudly representing their ethnicity by incorporating designs from ancient Korea. After graduating from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Illustration, Kim continues with a similar concept but now approaches universal references; the juxtaposition of past, present, nature, and artificiality, delightfully pursuing the depiction of paradox.
